GLOBAL GOALS

The Global Goals consist of 17 goals and 169 targets that bind all 193 UN member countries to eliminate poverty and hunger, reduce inequalities, improve education and health, create decent jobs, and promote sustainable economic growth. The new agenda recognizes the interconnectedness of social, economic, environmental development, peace, security, and international cooperation, requiring an integrated effort to achieve sustainable development. (Source)

GLOBAL GOALS AND RUB & STUB​

Rub & Stub recognizes the importance of the Global Goals in creating a more sustainable world, and we are proud to contribute to these goals. Target 12.3 of Global Goal 12 aims to reduce global food waste by 50% by 2030. The specific objective is to "halve per capita global food waste at the retail and consumer levels and reduce food losses along production and supply chains, including post-harvest losses." At Rub & Stub, we are committed to pursuing this target in all our projects and activities, and we hope to inspire others to do the same.
